"Cloughmore", or Pat Kearney's Big Stone, has an enormous 50-tonne granite capstone which has slipped, exposing a chamber closed by a slender door-slab over 1.5 metres high (middle of picture).

As at Tirnony (Derry) and Ticloy (Antrim) a flanking, free-standing orthostat (front left) suggests a derivation from the court-type of tomb.

Note also the 'shouldering' of the portal-stone on the right: a feature of megaliths in South Down.
