Ticloy, county Antrim

D 232 127 - Sheet 9

Nearest village: Carnlough

"The Stone House" has been thought to be half-way between a court-tomb and a portal-tomb.
At the E end of what was once a long cairn is a small chamber up to 1.8 metres high, roofed with two capstones.

The stick is one metre high.

A side-view some 28 years later, with the volcanic plug of Slemish in the background.

The tomb seen from the gate to the W, with a slab from the second tomb (now vanished) to the left
and conceivably in situ.
At least some of the stones in the walls are material from the cleared long-cairn.
